FNUSA-ICRC, Czech Republic

I received my PhD in Bioengineering in 2016 from the University of Genova, Italy. I specialized in microscale systems to investigate cardiomyocytes electro-mechanical activity. From 2016 to 2020 I worked at FNUSA ICRC (Brno, CZ) in the field of cardiac ablation with radiofrequency ablation and electroporation, while continuing my work on cardiomyocytes and cellular mechanobiology with atomic force microscopy at CEITEC (Brno). Since 2020 I have been investigating the mechanisms of atrial fibrillation and aging at IHU Lyric (Pessac, FR). Outside of the lab I am an avid consumer of fiction books, cinema and series. I enjoy hiking, running, swimming and racket sports, whose benefits I compensate with baking.
